How this calculator works
- Earnings difference: gross weekly earnings before minus current gross weekly earnings. It is not a compensation figure.
- NSW illustration (NSW only, first entitlement period only): max(0, 95% × PIAWE basis − current gross weekly earnings), for up to 13 illustrated weeks. No statutory maximums, deductibles or other adjustments are applied, and compensation already received is not subtracted.
- No figure is calculated for week 14 onward or for other states and territories.
- An injury, light duties or reduced overtime does not by itself create a workers compensation entitlement. Buying a report does not change the outcome — it only uses the details you provide.
